BoostyBear ("we," "us," "our") provides review-request messaging services on behalf of local business clients ("Business Clients"). This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information, with particular attention to SMS/text messaging data.
On behalf of our Business Clients, we receive limited contact information — name and mobile phone number — for the Business Client's own customers, solely for the purpose of sending a review-request text message after a completed visit or service.
No mobile phone numbers or opt-in consent data will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Phone numbers collected for SMS messaging are used exclusively to send the review-request message described here and are not sold, rented, or shared with any other party.
Recipients should expect to receive one (1) text message per completed visit or service from a Business Client, sent shortly after that visit. Message frequency may vary based on how often a recipient visits a participating Business Client.
Message and data rates may apply, depending on the recipient's mobile carrier and plan.
Recipients may opt out of future messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Recipients may reply HELP for assistance.
Contact information provided by a Business Client is retained only as long as necessary to provide this service and may be deleted upon request by the Business Client or the individual recipient.
